QuotePro is a job management app for deck contractors, built by Forsyth Development and available free on the Apple App Store.
The problem
A deck contractor juggles a lot at once: customer details, quotes at different stages, photos of the work, inspection and work dates, and who has paid what. In many small businesses that lives in text threads, spreadsheets, paper folders and memory. Quotes get lost, follow-ups get missed, and it is hard to see how the business is doing.
The goal
Give a contractor one place on their phone to run the whole job from first contact to final payment, without needing an account, a subscription or an internet connection to look something up on site.
What we built
QuotePro is a native iPhone app with these main parts:
- Customer management. Contact details, addresses and custom fields such as square footage or gate codes, plus referral tracking.
- Quotes and job tracking. Each job moves through Pending, Awaiting, Accepted, Declined and Completed, so nothing is left unanswered.
- Before and after photos. Every quote has its own Before, After and custom photo folders, so documentation stays with the job.
- Inspection and work scheduling. Dates are scheduled inside each quote and shown on a color-coded calendar.
- Payment tracking. Record cash, check, card or transfer payments and see what is paid and what is still owed.
- Statistics. Acceptance rate and monthly earnings charts show how the business is trending.
Key decisions
Private by design. Everything is stored on the user's iPhone. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no cloud service holding customer data. For a contractor that means customer records stay under their control, and the app works wherever they are. A built-in export and import tool lets them back up and restore their data.
Built around the job, not around software. The statuses, folders and calendar match how a contractor already thinks about a job, so there is little to learn.
Free to use. The app is free on the App Store.
