Forsyth Decks is a business website for a deck builder serving Arnold and Morro Bay, California. We designed and built it, and it is live at forsythdecks.com.
The problem
A local contractor's website has one main job: help a homeowner decide whether to call. Customers want to see real work, understand what the company does, confirm it covers their area, and reach someone quickly. Many contractor sites make that hard with vague pages or hard-to-use contact options.
The goal
Present the business clearly and credibly, show the quality of the work, and make it simple for a visitor to ask for a quote.
What we built
- Service pages covering deck builds, rebuilds, repairs and redwood resealing, so each kind of visitor finds their situation.
- Project galleries that show finished work.
- Materials information to help homeowners understand their options.
- Service-area pages for the communities served, so visitors can confirm the company works near them.
- A contact form so a visitor can send details without phoning first.
Key decisions
Show the work. Photos of real projects carry more weight than copy, so the galleries are central.
Answer the first questions fast. Who is this, what do you do, where do you work, and how do I reach you should each be answered without hunting.
Keep it simple to maintain. Small business sites stay useful only if they stay up to date, so the structure favors straightforward pages over complexity.
Outcome
The site is live and serves as the business's online presence. It also pairs with QuotePro, the contractor app we built, which is designed for the way deck contractors run their jobs.
Want a site like this?
We offer small business websites with $0 upfront development cost and $50 per month, which includes hosting and maintenance. In-depth features and upgrades may cost extra. The business is responsible for finding and purchasing its own domain name. We work in your domain account as an added admin (you invite us), so you keep ownership. See the services page, or get in touch.
