This Privacy Policy explains how Forsyth Deck and Home, Inc., a California corporation doing business as Forsyth Decks ("we", "us"; California contractor license CSLB #1112367) handles information on forsythdecks.com (the "Website"). The Website was designed and is maintained by Forsyth Development LLC on our behalf.
In short: we collect only what you send us through the contact form or by phone, we use it to answer you about your deck project, and we do not sell it.

Information you give us. When you use a contact form we receive:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your address or town
- The type of project and the project details you write
If you call or email us directly, we receive the information you share with us.
Automatic information. Our web host receives standard technical data when you visit (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and date and time) and may keep it in server logs for security and troubleshooting. To limit spam, the contact form temporarily records a one-way hash of your IP address so that repeat submissions within about 30 seconds can be declined.

- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Website, and prevent spam and abuse
- To measure whether our advertising leads to inquiries (see below)

How inquiries are delivered
Contact-form messages are sent by email to our business email inboxes (Gmail and our business mailbox) so we can respond. We do not store form submissions in a database on the Website.
Advertising measurement (Google Ads)
We use the Google Ads tag on the Website. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies and collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view, and whether you reach our confirmation page (thank-you page) after sending a message. We use this to count conversions from our ads and improve them. Google acts under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can control this by adjusting your Google Ads Settings, using your browser's cookie controls, or using a browser privacy setting or extension that blocks advertising tags. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, the Website cannot guarantee that third-party tags will honor it.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the Google Ads measurement described above. We share information only with:

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond, provide estimates and services, keep business and licensing records, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time (see Your choices).
Security
We use reasonable measures, including HTTPS, but no internet transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please do not send sensitive information such as payment card or government ID numbers through the contact form.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to know what categories we collect. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for money. Email us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity before we act. You may also unsubscribe from any follow-up email.
Children
The Website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us information and we will delete it.
